General
1) Why can't you make three substitutions?
The game was designed for two substitutions from five substitutes. Changing it to three substitutes, while possible, would involve a lot of time consuming work re-writing the game engine. And for such a slight change it isn't worth the work and subsequent testing.
2) When doing complex deals, how do I go about filling it in on my turnsheet?
Make a note of the complex payment arrangements in your question/comment on your turnsheet.
3) What do these symbols mean <5, <10 <15 & 25+?
This shows when that player will become available, i.e less then 5 turns, less then 10 turns etc.
4) I don't have a fit GK, what happens?
We will buy you a free agent GK for 5k.
5) How much do you need to bid for a free-agent?
Cash only bids for free agents, one bid per transfer deal. The minimum bid = player valuation x (rating/100) rounded up to the nearest 5000.
6) How do I recall a player from loan?
Enter code C in the transfer deal box in a player administration deal. The club who you are calling the player back from does not need to be informed of this nor do they have to confirm it. You cannot however callback a player from another club you manage. Also a player cannot be called back until he has completed at least one loan spell (L1 - 6 turns)
7) How many players can I have in and out on loan?
Players out on loan = 8 maximum. Loans between your own clubs = 1 maximum. Loans between two clubs = 2 maximum. Players in on loan = 4 maximum.
8) How many players can I quick sale per turn?
You can only quick sale one per turn.
9) Can I do deals between my own teams?
Yes you can, however you need to have managed your 2nd/3rd team for over 5 turns and no deals can be done between your teams during the last 5 turns of any season.
10) How is my signing limit worked out?
Your signing limit is your first team average +8.
11) I bid for a player and the bid was rejected due to the player being unavailable, but the player appears as available on my watchlist.?
Remember the availability on your watchlist denotes the availability for the new turn. If the player was on your watchlist the previous turn and was available please contact us at IOTP towers.
12) I want to make ground improvements, when can I do this and how much will it cost?
Every five turns you will be given the opportunity to ask for a stadium increase quote.
13) How long do the ground improvements take and will I lose any gate receipts during this period?
Ground improvements take 12 turns whatever the increase. During this 12 turn period your ground capacity will be halved.

14) Why didn't I receive my turnsheet?
All turns for the same setup are posted on the same day, and all are sent first class. Any delay in arriving at their destination is due to Royal Mail and out of our hands. Expect some delays in the run up to Christmas.
15) What do I do if make a mistake on my turnsheet ?
Re-write the correct info elsewhere on the turnsheet making clear what the information is for.
16) What do I do if there has been a mistake when inputting my turn?
We keep 5 weeks worth of turnsheets so can rectify inputting mistakes (unless made by the manager!)
17) If I win a league or cup do I win a trophy?
League and cup winners are entitled to a prize. To be eligible, you need to have managed the team in question for over half of the respective competition. Each winner eligible for a prize will be given a prize option on turn 1 of the new season. You can either receive one of our stylish trophies (if based in the UK) to commemorate your achievement or opt for some free turns to aid you in your defence of the trophy. For the online game, you can only win free turns, online winners do not have the option of a trophy.
18) How long will I have to wait for my prize?
We only place a trophy order when we have a certain amount of winners. We usually place about 3 orders a year so in a worst case scenario your wait maybe 4 months or so. The more winners who opt for a trophy the more frequent the trophy orders will be. If you opt for free turns these are added straight away.
19) I have plenty of luxury credit so why are my orders being blocked for lack of funds?
Luxury credit can only be used when your actual account is in credit.

20) I've already sent my turnsheet and have now sent it again with a slight change. Which one will be used?
All turnsheets are time/date stamped and the last one sent is always used.
21) How do I fill out the money in a transfer deal do I write 1.3m, 1,300,000 or 1300000?
1300000. Just numbers no dots or pound signs.

22) How do I change my e-mail address?
Click on the User account administration link on a setup's index page and you can change any of your user details including your e-mail address.
23) I've forgotten my password can you remind me?
Click on the User name/password finder link on a setup's index page. You'll then need to enter your e-mail address, birthplace and date of birth and if these match with your user account then your user name/password will be e-mail to the e-mail address specified.
24) Why have I lost my club when I've still got enough credit?
When you make a payment it is credited to your user account and you'll receive an e-mail confirmation of this. However, as stated in the confirmation e-mail, you still need to make a top-up club payment, otherwise you could lose the club.
